KaRu Salon was founded by husband and wife team Master Stylist Rudolph Leon-Guerrero and Master Colorist Kari Leon-Guerrero in 2010 following decades of success in hairdressing. Rudolph’s creativity and commitment to excellence has awarded him a mention in Austin Monthly as “the metaphorical granddaddy of the Austin hair scene” and acclaimed as a “rising star in hairdressing” in InStyle magazine.

The perfect counterpart to Rudolph is his wife Kari who possesses a remarkable ability to transform dull locks into head-turning masterpieces.  Together they are committed to providing a first-class experience for both their stylists and clients.  Every apprentice completes a one year training program specifically developed by Rudolph and Kari.  This ensures that every stylist meets the highest of standards and every client experiences their passion and commitment to education. For this reason, Unite hair products recognized KaRu as one of the top five education-driven salons in the country and also selected Rudolph to join their team at New York Fashion Week 2012.
